Salman Khan who has struck gold with his Eid releases so far (Wanted, Bodyguard and Ek Tha Tiger) hopes to continue with the trend by blocking the Eid date for 2015 for his upcoming home production under his signature Being Human banner.
While ' Kick' produced by Sajid Nadiadwala is also on its way to the cinema screens on Eid 2014, Salman it seems, is in no mood to give away his lucky charm to other actors. He has booked the same date for the next two years.
As per a DNA report, Salman will also star in his Being Human production to be directed by Kabir Khan that will be up for an Eid 2015 release. Earlier, producers would engage in a tussle to grab the auspicious date of Diwali for their film's releases, but Salman's successful hat-trick at the box-office is said to be a game changer.
While Eid has become synonymous with Salman Khan blockbuster films, arch rival Shah Rukh Khan went ahead and snatched some luck for himself as he released his last film 'Chennai Express' on the desirable day. It was no surprise then that SRK's film smoothly entered the Rs. 200 crore club.
While Sallu bhai continues his love affair with Eid, his upcoming film 'Jai Ho' directed by brother Sohail Khan however, will see the light of the day on Republic Day next year.
