Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has moved the Bombay High Court seeking an eradication of the complaint against him which has appealed for a contempt action against the actor in the magistrate’s court after he published court proceedings on his website.
In his petition Salman has pleaded that he has created the website only to make it sure that the public doesn’t get misguided through incorrect media reports, adding that he has committed no contempt of court. His plea is supposed to be heard tomorrow before Justice KU Chandiwal. On July 10 a notice was issued to the actor by a magistrate in Bandra court after a complaint was lodged against him by activist Hemant Patil. Patil demanded that contempt of court action should be taken against Salman as he allegedly publicised court matters on his website www.salmankhanfiles.com. Salman’s appeal claimed that all the summons issued to him should be kept aside by the High Court and he has also expressed his thoughts that the magistrate has worked upon the complaint insensibly.
