Mumbai: Deepika Padukone appeared palpably excited on popular social networking site Twitter as she announced the date set for the release of ‘Ram Leela’, a movie where she plays the lead actress.
In a tweet this morning, @deepikapadukone wrote: “RAMLEELA releasing 29th Nov,2013!!!”
This was quickly followed up with another tweet carrying the movie’s poster, featuring her in a gorgeous Indian look, very different from the westernized party girl we’re used to seeing her play.
Recent reports suggest the rapidly improving actress has put in some rather fine scenes while shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next movie and the audience can’t wait to see the leggy babe don the most challenging role she’s played till date.
But we’ll see her before November on the big screen with ‘Race 2’ releasing on Friday. This year’s a big one for her as about 6 of her movies could be released in the year and we wish her all the best for each one.
