Rs 100 crore divorce settlement with Hrithik Roshan false: Sussanne Roshan

Sussanne Roshan denied a media reports saying her divorce from Hrithik Roshan is a Rs.100 crore settlement and said that its unethical to publish such false news.

“I was deeply disappointed when I read today’s article titled ‘Sussanne and Hrithik Roshan divorce: Rs. 100 crore settlement? There is no element of truth in the news and it is entirely speculative,” she said in a statement.

Deepika keen to work with Hrithik Roshan Salman Khan and Aamir Khan

After acting with popular actors like Akshay Kumar, Saif Ali Khan, Ranbir Kapoor and superstar Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone now wants to work with other superstars - Salman Khan, Aamir Khan and Hrithik Roshan.

"Every year I am asked this question (which Bollywood actor I would like to work with now), but I hope in the next one or two years I will get to work with Hrithik, Salman and Aamir," Deepika, who has given four back-to-back hits this year, told reporters.

"Till now I have not worked with these actors (Aamir, Salman and Hrithik)," she added.

There are reports that Deepika has been roped in opposite Salman in Sooraj Barjatya's next, but Deepika denied and said: "That's not true and I have not officially met Sooraj ji."

It's not just Deepika who is eager to work with Salman. In fact, the 'Bigg Boss' host has also expressed his desire to work with the actress and has been seen praising her on many occasions. Deepika said it feels great.

Krrish 3 collections have crossed Rs. 500 crores

While some media reports allege that Hrithik Roshan-starrer 'Krrish 3' box-office collections have been inflated, director Rakesh Roshan begs to differ.

Speaking to Bollywood Hungama, Rakesh rubbishes these reports and questions the intentions of trade analysts who are saying that the box-office numbers quoted by the director are gross and not net.

He further explains that he has been getting updates from all his distributors, exhibitors and from places where the film is running right from the first day itself. The process is detailed and full-proof.

Questioning the authenticity of those articles, Rakesh tells Bollywood Hungama that it is impossible for anyone to exaggerate an amount of Rs. 40-50 crores. There is no way one can inflate box-office collections.

According to his calculations, Rakesh Roshan quotes that Krrish 3 has finally made Rs 500 crore. He says if you calculate entertainment tax and everything else, then Krrish 3's gross collection has crossed Rs. 500 crores.

Hrithik Roshan to endure yet another brain surgery in US?

According to reports, after the initial brain surgery to get rid of a blood clot, the actor recently suffered from a relapse which is the reason why he's headed back to the US.

While Hrithik gets treatment, his upcoming films 'Bang Bang' stand postponed.

Krrish 3 Movie highest Bollywood grosser of all time in Box Office

Hrithik Roshan's Krrish 3 is now the highest Bollywood grosser of all time, as it has broken SRK starrer Chennai Express's milestone that it had reached earlier this year at the box office.

Previously, Chennai Express had taken over Aamir Khan's 3 Idiots (2009), which enjoyed the undisputed top position as the all-time highest grosser for three years in a row with a collection of Rs. 202 crore from the domestic market.  The record was broken by SRK's Chennai Express that surpassed 3 Idiots to become the highest grosser at Rs. 227 crore.

Now, in a span of a few months, that record too has been beaten by Hrithik Roshan's Krrish 3, which released on November 1 and has so far made a collection of Rs. 231 crore, till Nov 16 and still progressing.

‘Krrish 3′ Box Office Collections Historical at Rs.270 Crore in 16 Days

Hrithik-starrer ‘Krrish 3′, released on November 1 just in time for Diwali has really raked in Rs.269.9 crore, more than expected returns for Rakesh Roshan, setting his eyes firmly on the next sequel ‘Krrish 4′.

The film grossed in the opening weekend about Rs.72.8 crore and as it entered the 16th day on Saturday, the box office collections were still ringing in gold for the makers whose hardwork proved worth the wait. The movie is certain to reach the figure of Rs.300 crore in a week’s time and begin its new journey to create new target for ‘Dhoom 3′ to follow.

The film released in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu raked in total Rs. 231.46 crore in domestic box office collections while it did repeat similar performance abroad with Rs.37 crore. The total earnings in the last 16 days of its release proved the film’s blockbuster status, making it an evergreen grosser throughout its run in many theatres.

Hrithik credits Salman for contribution in his life

Hrithik Roshan and Salman Khan, the Bollywood hunks who were once said to be on 'no-talking terms' after Salman allegedly passed derogatory comments against the 2010 film Guzaarish, are reportedly back on friendly terms.

The actor will appear on Bigg Boss 7 in a bid to celebrate the success of his latest release Krrish 3.

A leading publication quoted Hrithik as saying in a recent interview, "Yes, I am (going). I don't know why this has become an issue. There are a lot of other shows that I could not make it to, but it's (the visit) on the cards. I might be on the show very, very soon. I think for the second or the third week of the film... It will be my pleasure and we will have a ball."

He also credited Salu bhai for contributing in his life by saying, "I admire him and believe in his symbol of being human. He (Salman) has really added and contributed to my life in many ways."

Box office report Krrish 3 continues to fly high

As expected, Krrish 3, which took off to a phenomenal start, continued to weave its magic even during the second weekend.

Its initial run put Hrithik Roshan ahead of his seniors, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan. The Diwali period itself played a key role in giving this masked superhero a terrific boost at most centres around India — especially Gujarat, Central India, Rajasthan and many parts of the North. The school vacation until Sunday also ensured that the film managed a grand total.

The dubbed version in Tamil got a fair start despite stiff competition from a home film, Aarambam. The thriller, which has Ajith heading the cast, dented Krrish 3's figures to an extent.

But the Roshans were far more fortunate with the Telugu version of Krrish 3. It benefitted hugely because no big-ticket Telugu film has found a release on account of the Telangana turmoil.

Krrish 3 has also done well overseas, more so in the US, UK, Middle East, Australia and New Zealand. It has collected `36 crore (GBOC) internationally.

Hrithik Roshan says My mom, wife and sister are my superwomen

Actor Hrithik Roshan, who donned the superhero's look in the Krrish franchise, doesn't need a superwoman in real life.

"I don't think I need a superwoman in real life because I have my mother (Pinky), wife (Sussanne) and sister (Sunaina). They are my superwomen and I'm glad to have them in my life. They hold a very special place and I don't want anyone else to replace it," Hrithik told reporters here on Monday.

He was speaking at the meet-and-greet event organized to celebrate the success of Krrish 3, which has reportedly minted over Rs 200 crore worldwide.

When asked how it makes him feel to play a superhero, he said: "Being a superhero is like playing any one of us because we all have it inside us. It has been a great journey for me and I learnt a lot by playing the character."

"I have learnt about several values a superhero possesses and his service to the world. Even if we have five percent of those values, we can make the world a nicer place to live," he added.

Rakesh Roshan-directed and produced Krrish 3, which also features Kangana Ranaut, Priyanka Chopra and Vivek Oberoi in important roles, has done exceptionally well in Tamil Nadu as well.

Rakesh Roshan said I will start working on Krrish 3 sequel soon

Actor-filmmaker Rakesh Roshan said on Monday he is planning a Krrish 3 sequel but in future will work with Hrithik on a fresh script outside the Krrish franchise.

"I'm currently not working on a film outside the Krrish franchise with Hrithik, but I will do a film in the future. I would love to direct him in a fresh script as soon as I'm relieved with this franchise," Rakesh Roshan told reporters here.

The filmmaker, known for directing films such as Khoon Bhari Maang and Karan Arjun, launched Hrithik with hit movie Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai in 2000.

"I will start working on the sequel soon. Due to public demand, we may include some sidekick characters as well," said Rakesh Roshan.

Accompanied by Hrithik and cinematographer Tirru, senior Roshan was here to celebrate the success of Krrish 3, which has been received well in Tamil Nadu.

Krrish 3 makes Rs 200-crore, aims for Rs 300 crore in the coming days

The past two weeks have been full of contradictions. For one, Krrish 3 proved wrong the long-held notion that pre-Diwali releases suffer because of the ongoing festivity and the predictable market trends.

Secondly, Ram Gopal Varma's latest release Satya 2 showed that making a sequel is not always a good idea - especially when you're talking about an acclaimed film like Satya - even commercially speaking.

According to trade, the Hrithik Roshan-starrer has entered the Rs 200-crore club thanks to its collections in India alone. "As of now, it has grossed over Rs 206 crore in the country. It's been a fantastic second week for Krrish 3. A complete one-man show, it has been. I won't really be surprised if it aims for Rs 300 crore in the coming days," says Amod Mehra, a trade analyst.

On the other hand, Satya 2 has had a dismal weekend. As if being bashed by critics wasn't enough, even general public stayed away.

"Say what you want about a film, as long as it doesn't grab eyeballs it won't make profit. The RGV film managed to capture barely five per cent returns on the number of screenings held for it. It goes without saying that there's not much hope there," adds Mehra.

On the Hollywood front, Thor: The Dark World is said to be doing brisk business although the superhero franchise from Bollywood has not much to compete with.

Two biggies from Hindi film industry will be battling it out on the coming Friday. Rajjo, starring Kangana Ranaut, is opening with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Ram-Leela, starring Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone.

Krrish 3 registers highest collection in Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu for a Hindi film

Rakesh Roshan directed superhero film Krrish 3 has reportedly registered the highest collection for a Hindi film in Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu by earning a total of Rs 14.53 crore in the first week.

"I don't remember any dubbed Hindi film collecting Rs 14.53 crore in its first week in AP and TN. The collection was better in Andhra because the film had a solo release, while in Tamil Nadu it had limited theatrical release due to the release of three Tamil films," trade analyst Trinath told IANS.

In Tamil Nadu, Hrithik Roshan starrer Krrish 3 had to compete with Ajith's Arrambam, Karthi's All in All Azhaguraja and Vishal's Pandiya Naadu.

"Ajith-starrer Arrambam covered maximum number of screens followed by Karthi's film and Pandiya Naadu. But since All in All Azhaguraja opened to bad reviews, Krrish 3 held its position throughout the first week," he said.

Trinath believes the film will enjoy another week of good run in Tamil Nadu.

"This is the first Friday of the year no Tamil film has released. Arrambam and Pandiya Naadu will continue to lead while Krrish 3 can enjoy another week of run at Tamil Nadu box-office. In Andhra, however, with three releases this week, we can expect some drop in the collections," he added.

It's not only the Hindi version of Krrish 3 that did well. Even the dubbed Telugu and Tamil versions of the film were received very well.

"The Telugu dubbed version was received far better than the Tamil version. Since there was not a single release in Andhra Pradesh last week but for Vishal's Telugu dubbed version of Pandiya Naadu, audiences had to watch Krrish 3," said Trinath.

"I was informed that the Telugu and Tamil versions together did a business of Rs 6.2 crore in the first week," he added.

Krrish 3 also features Kangana Ranaut, Priyanka Chopra and Vivek Oberoi in important roles.

Krrish 3 creates history: Highest single day collections ever

It seems that it's a double dhamaal Diwali for Hrithik Roshan as his Krrish 3 is all set to create new records at the Box Office.

The Rakesh Roshan directed Krrish 3 has literally set the Box Office flying by garnering a total of 35.91 cr on Monday (4th November).
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, "And *highest single day* record lies shattered. #Krrish3 collects History on Mon. Collects ₹ 35.91 cr. The highest *single day* figure EVER." Elated Hrithik Roshan tweeted, "Nothing resonates more than BO records and the stupendous, record-shattering biz of #Krrish3 proves it."
'Krrish 3' released on 1st November and the amount collected on the 1st day, Rs 25.20 Crore, was a first for any non holiday pre-Diwali Friday. Starring Hrithik Roshan and Priyanka Chopra, the movie also features Vivek Oberoi and Kangana Ranaut.
