What can you expect when a fabulous actor and a super-talented actress team up for a film? Great entertainment right! Especially if it’s a film that promises to tickle your funny bone from the word go.
The trailer of Vidya Balan and Farhan Akhtar’s film ‘Shaadi Ke Side Effects’ was launched Monday by Balaji Motion Pictures Ltd.

Jointly produced by Pritish Nandy Communications and Balaji Motion Pictures, ‘Shaadi Ke Side Effects’ is a sequel to 2006 super-hit ‘Pyaar Ke Side Effects’ featuring Rahul Bose and Mallika Sherawat.

‘Shaadi Ke Side Effects’ has given Bollywood a brand new on screen Jodi, as Vidya Balan and Farhan Akhtar are paired opposite each other for the first time.

Farhan as Sid and Vidya as Trisha play husband and wife who have a sombre married life after having their first child. They seem to have lost the spark as a couple and make attempts to spice up their married lives again. The film revolves around revamping life after marriage and childbirth. After the box office success of the `Don` franchise, actor-filmmaker Farhan Akhtar will be teaming up with Shah Rukh Khan yet again but for a Rahul Dholakia project, where the superstar is likely to play a Gujarati don. The film will be produced by Farhan and his partner Ritesh Sidhwani under their home banner Excel Entertainment Pvt Ltd, and is currently under scripting stage.

"SRK is doing the film. We are not sure when it will go on floors exactly but it will be next year. Shah Rukh is excited about the film but we need to work out the schedule as he has prior commitments," Ritesh said. As for `Don 3`, the makers want to be sure that they have an exciting script in hand. "With a franchise like `Don` and the character, it’s important to get excited by the script. Neither Shah Rukh, nor Farhan or me wants to get into making a film because there is excitement about it. We also want to be happy with the script if that happens then I would love to do it," he added.

On other films in pipeline, Ritesh said that `Fukrey 2` as well as Abhishek Kapoor`s `Rock On 2` is being scripted. `Fukrey` released in June this year and was a hit. The comedy directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba had newcomers like Pulkit Samrat, Varun Sharma, Ali Fazal, Manjot Singh, Richa Chadda, Vishakha Singh, and Priya Anand in lead roles.

Vidya Balan, who will be seen as a women detective in ‘Bobby Jasoos’, says those who want to see the female James Bond should see her. "If you all want to see the lady James Bond, then I am right here," said Vidya - without revealing much - when asked about ‘Bobby Jasoos’.

To be directed by Sameer Shaikh and produced by Dia Mirza and Sahil Sangha, ‘Bobby Jasoos’ will go on floors by mid-November. Looking slimmer, the actress said the weight loss was for ‘Shaadi Ke Side Effects’.

Vidya said: "For `Dirty Picture` and `Ghanchakkar` I had to gain weight. In `Shaadi Ke Side Effects` I play a urban girl and the film demanded a particular body type, so I have lost the weight that I gained for my previous films." ‘Shaadi Ke Side Effects’ will see the fresh pair of Viday and Farhan Akhtar. The actress was all praise for her co-star. "I have seen `Bhaag Milkha Bhaag` and the perfection and dedication Farhan has done for the film is commendable. I am a huge fan of Farhan Akhtar. There is so much to learn from him."
