Bollywood icon Aamir Khan's latest release Dhoom 3 has broken box office records in Pakistan in the first week of its release, with multiplexes running five shows a day to capitalise on interest in the film.


In the country's largest city of Karachi, Dhoom 3's box office receipts from 56 screens on its opening day was around Rs 20 million.

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan praised his son, actor Abhishek Bachchan for his success at the box office with his latest film 'Dhoom 3'.


The film, which is the third offing from the 'Dhoom' franchise, saw the 37-year-old Junior B reprise the role of a cop.

"'Dhoom 3' weekend collection all India is Rs 107 crore.

This is going beyond all records ever !! And going beyond berserk," Bachchan, 71, posted on Twitter.

The talented actor wanted to have a special screening of his next but we hear YRF turned down the idea. Shocking, isn’t it? But the question is why…

Aamir Khan was keen on showing his forthcoming film Dhoom:3 to his friends and relatives. Mr Perfectionist apparently requested the makers to arrange a special screening for the same but Yash Raj Films has refused to do so. “Aamir was keen to get a feedback from his friends. He has been taking an active interest in the promotions, but his request was turned down” said a source. If media reports are to be believed then the reason why YRF won’t be holding any special screening for their much-awaited film is coz they don’t won’t to kill the suspense factor. Finally after much hype 'Dhoom:3' has unveiled the promo of its latest song "Malang".

Featuring dashing Aamir Khan and gorgeous Katrina Kaif, the track is touted as the Most Spectacular Song ever by YRF.


With music directed by Pritam, the song is sung by Siddharth Mahadevan, Shilpa Rao and lyrics by Sameer Anjaan. The song presents the characters Sahir-The Clown and Aaliya-The Acrobat performing their musical acts on stage. The setting looks dazzling and as brilliant as the Hollywood 'Moulin Rouge' "Chamma Chamma" track. Aamir proves to be great in his crisp dance moves while as usual Katrina shows off her sizzling quotient.
